The Chesapeake Elementary School Counseling Program follows the philosophy that all students can learn and grow physically, intellectually, emotionally, and in social and moral responsibility.
The objectives of the Counseling and Guidance Program are to promote the development of the fundamental skills of self-concept and healthy interpersonal relationships. It emphasizes respectful, responsible decision-making, self-awareness, and the exploration of future career and educational opportunities. The school counselor will work directly with all students, parents, teachers, and community stakeholders to ensure equal access to all educational programs and services.
